Is Soft Washing Safe for My Roof?

Yes. Soft washing is the safe way to clean a roof.

What soft washing is

We apply a cleaning solution at low pressure, let it work, then rinse gently. The solution kills the algae at the root. It removes algae, mold and buildup without damaging tiles or shingles.

Why not pressure washing?

Pressure washing uses force. On a roof, that force can crack tiles, strip the protective granules from shingles and void a roof warranty. We never pressure wash a roof.

Will my tiles break?

Soft washing is gentle on tiles. High pressure is what cracks them, and we don’t use it on roofs.

What about my plants?
